“ I frequent this spot a few times a month because it's the closest to my job, but that doesn't mean it's the best. The food is always fresh, and they definitely use quality ingredients in every dish, which I appreciate. However, the service can be hit or miss. A word of caution: if you're ordering the salad, double-check that they give you the large portion if you're paying $20 for it. I've been shortchanged before with the smaller size, and it's frustrating. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with the burritos, huevos rancheros, or French toast--they're all fantastic. For lunch, I usually go for the salmon salad with their homemade ranch (seriously delicious), but I'll mix it up if their specials catch my eye. They have a pretty solid happy hour too, with a few cocktails, beers, wines, and some tasty food options. It's a classic spot with a dinner vibe, and really the only decent restaurant close to the community college and Rancho Viejo. It's convenient and dependable, even if it's not perfect! ”

“ Last meal before heading out of Santa Fe was at the Pantry Dos. I went with the chicken fried steak, smothered in country gravy packed with delicious sausage bits. The steak itself was tender and the batter was perfect. Pretty decent mashed potatoes and a sizable biscuit that was delicious. Has a diner vibe to the place. Food was great and came out quickly. Servers were incredibly nice to everyone. Had no trouble getting a table at dinner time. Great place to stop in for a bite. ”
